KAMA JAZZ THURSDAY at FIVE - 5 PM UNTIL 8 PM
THE CANADIAN JAZZ QUARTET will be playing THURSDAYS at FIVE with a GUEST ARTIST.

JUNE 20 - ALASTAIR KAY - – trombone luminary
15-year featured player with the Grammy- and Juno Award-winning ‘Rob McConnell and The Boss Brass’; internationally-acclaimed arranger, composer, clinician, and virtuoso jazz and classical trombonist; performed around the world with leading artists and entertainers including Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett, Paul Anka, Aretha Franklin, Al Jareau, Diana Ross, Buddy Rich, Nelson Riddle, Lionel Hampton, Phil Woods, Burt Bacharach, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, and Andrea Bocelli; played on over 1000 commercial jingles, countless recordings, and major radio, TV, and movie sound tracks;first call pit-band player for major live musical theatre hits in Toronto for more than 30 years;classical performances with all of Canada’s leading symphonies, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Orchestra, the National Ballet Orchestra, and numerous small chamber ensembles, most notably the ‘True North Brass’; faculty member since 1994 and Head of Brass Studies at Toronto’s prestigious Humber College.

JUNE 27 - NO LIVE JAZZ THIS THURSDAY AT KAMA. 2013 ‘TD Toronto Jazz Festival’ is on this week. PLEASE come and enjoy our A La Carte and Delicious Buffet before attending some live performances.

The KAMA BAR and PATIO will be open with a special HAPPY HOUR and JAZZ MENU. There are "NO RESERVATIONS" for JAZZ Night and a reasonable minimum food and beverage charge of $20 per person policy for this function.
The acclaimed "all you can eat" Indian Buffet will be prepared for 5:30.

Kama restaurant is named for the Indian goddess of love, 21st Century Design and Professional Chef's especially brought in from India. Located in the Entertainment district, Kama is just steps away from St. Andrews subway station, the theaters and right across from the Roy Thomson Hall.

Choose from an extensive buffet or order from the a la carte menu, both of which offer veggie or chicken pakora, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, lamb chops masala, eggplant bharta, saag chicken, vindaloo, or the subtly-spiced mushroom kaju muther.
